Work Injury

Article 87 obliges the employer to transport an injured worker to hospital, notify security authorities, and report to the Ministry within 48 hours, bearing transport costs. Violation is punishable by 100–500 JOD per breach, doubled for recurrence.

Article 90 fixes compensation: 1200 days' wage (2,000–5,000 JOD) for death/total disability; 75% daily wage during treatment (65% if at approved centre); proportional compensation for partial permanent disability per Schedule 2; capped at total disability amount for multiple injuries.
